Gov’t supplies Adjen-Kotoku SHS with computers

Government has supplied 20 computers to the Adjen-Kotoku Senior High School (SHS) for teaching of information technology communication.

Mr Samuel Atukwei Quaye, Ga West Municipal Chief Executive in an interview with Ghana News Agency after presenting the items said the supply of the computers formed part of the official inauguration of the school.

He said the Municipal Assembly attaches importance to quality education, hence the provision of the third SHS in the area and for that matter government’s clear indication of its commitment to accessibility to institutions of learning.

Mr Quaye said the Adjen-Kotoku SHS was a re-development project constructed by the Ministry of Works and Housing so as to increase the number of public schools in the municipality.

He acknowledged the contributions made by the chiefs and people of Adjen-Kotoku for releasing lands for projects in the area.

Mrs Mercy Benneh-Lartey, Acting Headmistress of the school who received the computers expressed gratitude to the government.
