ICAG organises health walk

The Institute of Chartered Accountants- Ghana (ICAG) on Saturday organised a health walk through some principal streets of Accra to mark the annual Accountants Week celebration.

The walk, which drew participation from members of the Institute, was also to create awareness on the importance of regular exercise to ensure vibrant health.

Professor Kwame Boasiako Omane-Antwi, President of ICAG, said the walk provided the platform for its members to socialise, network and plan the way forward for the Institute.

He said good health is critical in ensuring a sound mind and healthy body, hence the need for all to exercise regularly and ensure a healthy life.

As part of the activities to mark this year’s event, ICAG would hold a news conference, a two-day Accountant’s Conference, photo exhibition, church service and a dinner dance.

Present at the walk was Mr Bernard Otabil, General Manager of Ghana News Agency and management members of the Institute.
