I am not a caricature – Akufo-Addo

The flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo says he is not an arrogant man as his political detractors want the majority of Ghanaians to believe.

The leader of the NPP has for several years been described as arrogant, pompous and disrespectful by mainly members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

But in an exclusive interview with Kwabena Anokye Adisi popularly known as Bola Ray on Starr Chat on Starr 103.5 FM, Nana Addo said “the vast majority of Ghanaians know the real me; they have seen through the negative propaganda by my opponents”.

Nana Addo, who is leading the biggest opposition party for the third time said all the negative description of his character has been a deliberate attempt by his opponents to tarnish his image.

In a relaxed and revealing chat with Bola Ray, the former Attorney General described himself as “affable, open, generous and quite gregarious” adding he is not a “caricature”.
