The confirmed District Chief Executives (DCEs) for Sissala West and Jirapa Districts were sworn into office on Friday to lead business of their respective Assemblies.
They are Mr Bukari Darimani and Mr Cletus Seidu Dapila for Sissala West and Jirapa Districts respectively.
Alhaji Amidu Sulemana, the Upper West Regional Minister congratulated the two DCEs after they had been sworn in and urged them to work hard to complement government’s efforts at addressing the developmental needs of their districts.
He urged them to use their positions to bring hope and development to the people, especially the marginalised in society.
Mr Dapila thanked the President for giving him and his colleague the opportunity to serve in his government, and the Regional Minister for the role he played during their confirmation process.
He gave the assurance that they would work hard to implement the President’s vision, policies and programmes in their respective districts.
