Tamale: Police arrest notorious armed robber

Police in Tamale have arrested a suspected armed robber who is believed to have terrorised residents of the metropolis for many years.

The suspect, according to the police, has masterminded a number of armed robbery attacks in the vicinity.

The Police retrieved an amount of 5000 cedis and a French made pistol from the suspect.

A substance suspected to be Indian hemp was also found during the search.

He has been remanded into police custody.

The Public relations officer for the Tamale police Command, Ebenezer Tetteh, told Starr News the suspect will soon be arraigned before court.
