The government is to set up a National Inter-Sectoral Committee under the auspices of the Ministry of Employment and Social Welfare to draft a comprehensive ageing policy aimed at protecting the interests of the elderly and the aged. This was disclosed by the Executive Director of Help Age Ghana, Mr.. J. D. It is also to motivate society to be more disposed towards the welfare of the aged. A message read on behalf of the Indian high Commissioner to Ghana, Mr..
