Ghanaians urged to work harder in 2015

Pastor Paul Morgan Adorsu, the Tema District Pastor of the Great Commission Church International, has urged Ghanaians to remain focused and work hard in 2015 for the nation’s socio-economic development.

He said attitudinal change toward work was required for the greater progress of the nation, adding that “change agents cannot succeed without greater tenacity of purpose”.

Pastor Adorsu made the appeal in his homily during the Church’s Tema District watch night service to usher in the New Year on the theme: “2015, A Year of Realignment to God to fulfill your Destiny”.

He said: “God has not finished with you; the New Year is calling for reformation in the life of every Christian to our positions as light of the world”.

“The world is going through economic, moral, social and relational challenges but God has sent his word for us as a solution, therefore we must do things God’s way but not our own way,” he added.

He advised Christians to emulate the patriarch Abraham, who out of obedience to God left his father’s house in search of God’s Promised Land and as a result became the father of many nations and a blessing to the whole world.

Pastor Adorsu urged Christians to remain highly committed in their service to God, the church and the nation as whole.

He said it was very pivotal that Christians allow God to lead them in their decision-making process which could be achieved through the empowerment of the Holy Spirit.
