GJA Demands Probe Into Corruption at TMA

The Ghana Journalists Association (GJA) has petitioned the Public Accounts Committee of Parliament and the CHRAJ to investigate allegations of corruption at the Tema Municipal Assembly (TMA).

It has also asked the Minister of Information and Presidential Affairs to stay clear of the recommended transfer of a GNA correspondent from the Tema Municipality.

The Association has further called on the management of the GNA to treat the said recommendation with the contempt it deserves and not to succumb to any pressures from any quarters.

President of the GJA, Mrs. Gifty Affenyi-Dadzie, announced this in Tema yesterday.
