Kpone Assembly inaugurates its task force

The Kpone-Katamanso District Assembly (KKDA) has inaugurated its task force to ensure sanity in the developing areas of the district.

Members of the task force were officially introduced to Assembly Members during the KKDA’s General Meeting recently held at Kpone.

Resplendent in green trousers and shirts with cap and boots to match, members of the task force marched and displayed their readiness to maintain order in the district.

Mr Joseph Nii Laryea Afotey Agbo, the Greater Accra Regional Minister and Kpone-Katamanso Member of Parliament, cautioned the task force not to connive with land guards to terrorise residents.

Mr Agbo reminded them that they were not recruited to enrich themselves but rather to serve the interest of the people.

The Minister said any misbehaviour from any member of the task force would warrant an outright termination of contract and told them to always see discipline and respect as the key to remain a member of the task force.

He said though authorities of KKDA would not be everywhere to monitor their activities, residents would be watching them.
