Mumuni: Hearts of Oak new boy returns from German trials

Hearts of Oak new signing Issah Mumuni has returned to the Phobians after completing a two-week trial spell with German side St Pauli, GHANAsoccernet.com can confirm.

The holding midfielder, 19, arrived in Germany two weeks ago and began training with the Bundesliga II club and has rejoined Hearts of Oak.

Mumuni reported to Hearts of Oak training grounds on Monday as he seeks to win a place in Herbert Addo’s squad for the season.

Mumuni played a key role in Hearts’ GHALCA Top triumph over Heart of Lions but he missed the double-header against Asante Kotoko.

He is one of the 11 new players who joined for Hearts of Oak when the Ghanaian transfer window opened.

His arrival gives Herbert Addo a full house.
