Ghanaians must demonstrate to express anger against corruption – Azeem

Ghanaians have been charged to shelve cowardice and use agitations and demonstrations to express their anger against corruption in the country. This has been prescribed as the only way to get the attention of the leadership to deal decisively with the canker which has been analyzed to have caused the retrogression of the Nation’s development.

The call for the usage of demonstrations and agitations to fight against corrupt practices and persons was made by the Executive Director of Ghana Integrity Initiative, Mr Vitus Azeem in an exclusive interview on Rainbow 87.5 fm’s morning show dubbed FRONTLINE.

Mr. Vitus Azeem said some past demonstrations could not yield any positive results because they were politicized. He noted that corruption in Ghana is on the ascendency because there is no commitment to fight it.

The head of the local branch of the anti – corruption body hinted of a massive political demonstration against corruption come December this year and said it will turn things around in that direction.

Mr. Azeem expressed sadness at how corruption has engulfed administration of football in Ghana. Prince Osei Tutu Rainbow 87.5 fm.
