Techiman: 16 die in 2 ghastly car crashes

Sixteen people have died on a stretch of the Kumasi-Techiman road in two separate car crashes between Tuesday and today (Wednesday).

The first accident involved a minibus, which run into a trailer, as the Driver tried overtaking another car.

Fourteen people perished in that collision.

The bodies were sent to a mortuary at Kintampo in the Brong Ahafo region.

The injured are being treated at a hospital in Techiman, also in the same region.

There was a separate accident on Wednesday, which claimed two more lives, barely 24 hours after the Tuesday crash.
