Nsawam Police arrest three thieves

The Nsawam Police on Monday arrested three persons for stealing six sheep at Yawkoko and Pampamso near Nsawam.

They are Ali Mohammed, 32, Moses Ayesu, 24, and Kwasi Azivor, 22, who the police described as a jail-bird as he was recently released from the Nsawam Prisons.

Briefing the Ghana News Agency, Superintendent Akwasi Kankam Boadu, Nsawam Police Commander, said one Eric Twum, a taxi driver, called the police after he had loaded onto his taxi three big sacks he suspected to contain the carcasses of the sheep.

A police patrol team was informed and they managed to stop the taxi and arrested the thieves.
