Ghanaians urged to observe environmental hygiene

Rev Prophet Prince Kofi Okyere, President of Faith Anointing International Ministry, has urged Ghanaians to be mindful of their personal hygiene in the wake of the Ebola and cholera outbreaks.

He said cleanliness is next to Godliness and that people must take environmental sanitation seriously to avoid contracting any of the diseases.

Prophet Okyere was speaking to Ghana News Agency at Pantang-Abokobi, near Madina in the Greater Accra Region on Sunday.

He said it was painful that the disease was spreading fast in some African countries, adding that Ghanaians should also go on their needs and pray to God for his intervention.

“We need to pray very hard, God is a listener of prayers and it would only take prayers to save the country from the disease “.

Prophet Okyere called on other religious leaders to use the pulpit to educate their members and also leave their comfort homes and reach out to people in the rural areas.

He charged Ghanaians to work hard to support the government to fix the economy which he said was the responsibility of all.
