The Leader of the People?s National Convention (PNC), Dr Edward Mahama says the NDC is day dreaming because there is no way that the party can regain power come 2004. He said after 20 year in power, the NDC had nothing to offer the nation. ?The PNC is the most credible alternative to the NPP?, he told a press conference in Accra.
Dr Mahama said the PNC is the only credible Nkrumahist party and is engaged in consistent campaign to take over power in 2004. The PNC, he said was on the ground all over the country and would do everything possible to unite all Nkrumahists.
Asked whether people believed in the chances of the PNC, he said more people were beginning to understand the messages of the party wherever it went. ?The PNC is more open-minded than the others. The party does not believe in parading people before the camera,? Dr Mahama said.
