NPP founder member roots for Nana Akufo-Addo

A founder member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr. Daniel Kojo Donkor, has appealed to those aspiring to contest the party’s presidential slot to shelve any such ambition and throw their weight behind Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, the 2012 candidate.

He said in a statement that Nana Akufo-Addo was the party’s bet, he would be the man to beat in the 2016 polls and should therefore not be contested.

Mr. Donkor, a former Member of Parliament (MP) for Atwima-Mponua during the Limann Administration, said the twice defeated flagbearer had all it takes to salvage the faltering economy to restore hope and confidence and bring progress to the people.

He said nobody should be deceived into thinking that he or she could use money to influence the party’s delegates and that they would certainly go with the popular choice of the people.
