Student stabbed to death

Patrick Kwasi Densu, a 17-year-old third-year student of Sakyikrom Junior High School near Nsawam, was on Tuesday stabbed to death, by a 21-year-old former student of the same school, Mary Offei alias Naana.

Briefing the Ghana News Agency on the incident, the Nsawam District Crime Officer, Assistant Superintendent of Police( ASP) Stephen Billy Adom, said there was a quarrel between the school children during which, Densu who was taking his final examinations, was stabbed in the ribs.

ASP Adom said Offei has been arrested by the police while the body of Densu has been transferred from the Nsawam Government Hospital to the Police Hospital in Accra for post mortem examination.

The district crime officer said police investigations continue on the matter.
