Military recruits urged to exhibit discipline

The Officer Commanding Air Force Training Command, Air Commodore Griffiths Santrofi Evans, has tasked the Air Force recruits to maintain a high level of discipline and commitment in their dealings.

He entreated them to let military values such as integrity, honesty, respect, accountability and passion for excellence be their guiding principles in their work.

Air Commodore Evans gave the admonition during the passing-out parade of 248 new recruits of the Ghana Air Force in Takoradi.

They comprised 191 males and 57 females who went through six-months intensive training at the Ghana Air Force Training School at the Takoradi Air Force Base.

Air Commodore Evans, who was the Reviewing Officer for the parade, warned the recruits not to use their position to bully the civilian population but rather ensure cordial relations with them so as to ensure peace and harmony in society.

Those who excelled in the training were rewarded with Recruit Adukpo Mensah Prince being adjudged the overall best recruit.
