Danquah Institute predicts 64.7% win for Kwabena Agyepong

An opinion poll conducted by Danquah Institute, a public policy and research center in Ghana, has put Kwabena Agyei Agyepong ahead in 12th April contest for General Secretary position of the New Patriotic Party.

The poll conducted in all 10 regions of Ghana, revealed that the incumbent General Secretary follows with a 24.8%, with the rest polling as follows; Effah Darteh 4.6% and Yaw Buaben 3.9%, with 2% yet to decide whom to vote for.

Using a sample size of 500 respondents across the country, the sampling was done systematically on constituency basis. The margin of error is estimated at 2. 3%, and confidence level tested very high.

The delegates are determined to select their leaders based on their track record and vision for the New Patriotic Party, especially in the areas of election monitoring and effective communication at the grassroots level.

The poll which was conducted to inform Nana Akufo-Addo on the strength of the various candidates vying for several positions, has interesting revelations as delegates are poised to reject persons campaigning on the strength of potential leaders in the New Patriotic Party.
