CJA appeals to Rawlings to stop attacks on Kufuor

Mr. Francis Kobina Eghan, the Western Regional Chairman of the Committee for Joint Action (CJA) on Wednesday urged former President Jerry John Rawlings to stop attacking former President John Agyekum Kufuor.

He told the GNA in an interview that ex-President Rawlings must rather channel his energy into providing solutions to the numerous problems the country faced.

“Let us therefore forgive each other and come together as one people with a common destiny to solve the numerous problems facing the nation,” Mr Eghan said.

He said both former presidents could not be spared on issues of corrupt practices in the country which had negatively affected its progress.

“Both of you ex-President Rawlings and ex-President Kufuor are guilty before God, Ghana and the Region,” he said.

Mr Eghan alleged that former President Rawlings sold 16 ships of the defunct Black Star Lines and its buildings and former President Kufuor was responsible for the collapse of the railways when he sold it to Western Casting.
