Adenta MP hosts annual stakeholders meeting

Mr Emmanuel Nii Ashie Moore, Member of Parliament (MP) for Adentan, on Sunday hosted a stakeholders meeting, which aimed at fast tracking development in the constituency.

The maiden meeting provided the platform for the MP to inform his constituents about his achievements during his first year in office, as well as his vision for the constituency.

Mr Moore said he had facilitated the delivery of 20 buses to the Ghana Private Road and Transport Union to pay by hire purchase.

“I have been able to renovate some schools, as well as donating street lights to some communities within the constituency”, he added.

The MP said he has registered 2000 kids, under 17 years, for the National Health Insurance Scheme.

Mr Moore prominent among the projects he is targeting for 2014 is solution to the water crisis in the constituency.

“This year, Adenta will be receiving 40 million gallons of water, each and every blessed day.”

In an interview with the Ghana News Agency, he revealed that the gathering was also aimed at fostering unity among constituents, which serves as a major factor for development.

He said there would be a meeting in every three months, to brief constituents on issues concerning development.
