The running mate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the 2008 and 2012 elections, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has visited Mr. Kwabena Agyei Agyepong, former Presidential Press Secretary and Spokesperson during the administration of President Kufuor, to console him over the loss of his mother, Mrs. Margaret Agyepong, which sad event occurred after a short illness on Friday, 27 September 2013 in London.
Dr Bawumia urged the Agyepong family to remain steadfast in this difficult period and prayed for the blessing of the Almighty to the departed soul.
The one week celebration and family gathering of the late Mrs. Margaret Agyepong will take place on Friday, 11th October 2013 at Asokore-Mampong near Kumasi Airport. The final funeral rites will be announced in due course. © 2013 Grammarly, Inc.
