Fresh Kumasi murder: Father of four killed at Aboabo

A father of four has been shot dead in Aboabo, a suburb of the Ashanti regional capital, Kumasi.

Isaac Turkson, 47, a teacher with the Kumasi Technical Institute (KTI) was killed in his house on Thursday June 4, 2013 around 3:30am while studying.

A burglar broke into Turkson’s room and shot the father of four after a brief confrontation.

The wife of the killed teacher told XYZ News’ Ashanti regional Correspondent Isaac Bediako Justice that she heard her husband talking and exchanging words with someone, but could not identify the stranger.

She suddenly heard a gunshot amidst the back-and-forth.

According to Bediako Justice, the assailant threatened to kill her too if she dared raise any alarm before he went away.

The husband was rushed to the Komfo Anokye Teaching hospital, but died on the way.

The case has been reported to the Ashanti Regional Police command for investigations.
