Woyome appalled by Consar and Michelletti claims

Alfred Agbesi Woyome says he is shocked and appalled by reports that representatives of two companies involved in the construction of the CAN 2008 stadia have denied knowing him.

Reports on Monday indicated that the Managing Directors of Consar Limited and Michelletti Company Limited revealed at the Judgment Debt Commission sitting that they never dealt with Alfred Woyome as an official of Waterville.

About GH¢51 million was paid as judgment debt to Alfred Woyome by the government of Ghana after allegedly illegally abrogating a contract with Waterville, a company Mr. Woyome represents.

However, a statement by the communication team of Mr. Woyome on Wednesday stated that “we are shocked by media reportage to the effect that representatives of the two companies involved with the CAN 2008 Stadium Projects, Consar and Micheletti had denied knowing Mr. Alfred Agbesi Woyome as an official of Waterville Holding Ltd. when they appeared before the Sole Commissioner handling the issue of judgment debts per the directive of His Excellency President John Dramani Mahama”.
