Mahama and Zuma discuss African democracy

President John Mahama on Monday morning met with his South African Counterpart at his residence in Pretoria.

President Mahama is in South Africa as Special Guest of Honour at the opening of the 2nd Ordinary Session of the Third Parliament of the Pan-African Parliament.

The two leaders discussed democracy and accountability on the continent and also followed up on some issues from their last meeting in Durban.

Speaking to journalists, the two leaders said they also considered the outcome of the last meeting of the BRIC countries which was hosted by South Africa.

They also discussed Ghana’s need for infrastructural project financing.
