NDC supporters throng party Headquarters

Hundreds of supporters of National Democratic Congress (NDC) have trooped into the party headquarters drumming and dancing, while awaiting the declaration of the results of the 2012 elections by the Electoral Commission.

When the GNA visited the party headquarters, some national executives of the party were seen smiling and expressing their gratitude to God for granting the NDC victory in the elections.

Some of the people spotted at the headquarters were Mr Danny Annan, First Vice Chairman of the party, Ms Anita de Sooso- National Women Organiser, Hajia Mariam Sinare, a member, Alhaji Saeed Sinare-Ghana’s Ambassador to Egypt and Mrs Benita Sena Okiti Duah- Member of Parliament elect for the Ledzokuku Krowor.

Mr Annan cautioned supporters of the party to be calm and should be law abiding.

He thanked every individual who supported President John Dramani Mahama’s vision and appealed to the political parties that contested Election 2012 to concede defeat when the results are declared by the EC.

Alhaji Muhammed Rashid, a member of the NDC expressed satisfaction with the results being collated by some media houses and thanked them for a good work done.
