PNC Chairman dead in fatal accident, EC officials injured

The Chairman of the People’s National Convention for the Karaga constituency has died in a fatal accident in the Northern region.

According to reports from the Northern region the chairman was on his way to the constituency to mobilize supporters of the party to go out in their numbers to vote.

Meanwhile, some EC officials moving electoral materials to the Volta region have also been involved in an accident accident.

Reports from the Ho Central indicates that voting has not started because the electoral materials have not arrived due to the accident.

Radio XYZ’s Volta regional correspondent Emmanuel Atupka reported that voters have converged at the polling stations but voting is yet to start.

The victims have been rushed to the hospital for treatment.
