Reject Politicians Who Campaign On Ethnocentric Lines

The Presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party, NPP, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo, has joined the Muslim community in Bia constituency to worship to mark Eid-Ul-Adha.

Nana Addo asked them to continue to live in unity and reject leaders who campaign on ethnocentric tendencies.

He such divisive comments have the tendency to bring disunity in the country.

Nana said what Ghana needs is someone who can work to improve the standard of living for its people and not where you come from.

Nana Addo denied allegations that NPP is against Muslims. He said since the 1992 Constitution came into fusion it is only the NPP that has elected a vice president who is a Muslim.

He reiterated need to establish a Zongo community fund. He said such funds will be managed by the Muslims themselves.
