Alhaji Inusah Fuseini, a Deputy Minister of Energy, has refuted allegations by New Patriotic Party (NPP) Parliamentary Candidate for Tamale Central , Mr Iddrisu Musah Superior, that he is responsible for the destruction of his billboards in the Constituency.

“I have ever suffered the same tragedy in the same area that the incident happen in 2008, it may happen that people from his own party have destroyed the billboards, let’s leave the matter to the Police to carry out their investigations”.

“I will never encourage any member of National Democratic Congress (NDC) to do so, it is not in our campaign trail, our campaign is devoid of insults, vandalism, tribalism, It is an issue-based campaign”.

Alhaji Fuseini made this known when he granted an interview to the Ghana News Agency in Accra on Tuesday.

Alhaji Fuseini said based on that, the people of Tamale Central have given the promised to retain him as the MP of the area, adding, “Politics is about fairness and equity. I have been very fair to my people and share whatever that comes into my purse as an MP equally amongst them that is why they are going to retain me.”

He appealed to the people of the area especially supporters of the NDC not to do anything to comprise the peace the constituency was enjoying, adding, “Let’s not provoke our opponents outside and within any political party, we need peace in the constituency and Ghana at large.”
