The ban on drumming and noise making in Ga State would be lifted on Thursday, June 7.

In a statement issued in Accra on Wednesday, the Gbese Mantse Nii Ayi – Bonte II, and the accredited Wulomei of the Ga State led by Nuumo Ogbarmey III (Sakumo Wulomo) informed the general public that the ban on drumming and noise making would be lifted on Thursday June 7.

It said the ceremony was scheduled for the Gbese Blohum in the afternoon on the theme, “Peace, Progress and Development”.

“The elders wish to express their deep appreciation to the religious community and the general public for the high level of cooperation during the month-long ban.

“It is the prayer of the elders that the entire political leadership in the country will live up to their word, to give mother Ghana peace, progress and development.”**
