GETfund contractors to demonstrate over arrears today

The contractors working on the GETFUND’s ‘Schools under Trees Project’ will this morning embark on a demonstration to demand outstanding payments after calling it off last week.

The contractors plan to walk to the GETFUND offices through to the Castle to present their petition to President Mills.

According to the contractors the authorities at GETfund have breeched agreed dates set for the payment of work done.

“From the look of things, there is no way we can get money any time soon, we have tried to see the GETfund officials but we have not been granted access. We believe if we take action, our voices would be heard” Philemon Addey, one of the contractors told Citi News.**
