Church donates to Osu Children’s Home

Management of the Miracle Life Gospel Church, on Monday donated assorted items to the Osu Children’s Home in Accra.

The items worth GH¢1,750, included 10 bags of rice, six bags of sugar, four cartons of milk, four packets of toilet rolls, toys and biscuits.

Milena Adirkov, the Church Missionary from the United Kingdom, who made the presentation, said it was part of their social responsibilities to respond to the needs of the less privileged in society.

She noted that “as we celebrate Easter, there is the need to make the less affected feel at home, and that the gesture would be an annual affair.

Madam Sharon Abbey, Matron of the Osu Children Home, receiving the items, thanked the Church for the support and appealed to other organizations and Churches to support the Orphanage to meet its needs.

The Children were treated with music from Rev John Teye Memorial Institute band at the ceremony.**
