Chief urges political parties to conduct clean election campaign

Gomoa Kweikrom (C/R), Feb. 5, GNA – Nana Kwei Ababio XIII, Chief of Gomoa Kweikrom and Oseawuohene of Gomoa Akyempim Traditional Council, has appealed to political parties to conduct decent campaign devoid of insults, acrimony and the use of abusive language.

He said it would be bad for the nation to plunge into chaos and anarchy as result of elections as had happened in other neighbouring countries.

Nana Ababio made this known when he addressed his sub-chiefs and the entire people of Gomoa Kweikrom to climax their Annual Akwambo Festival on Saturday.

The festival also coincided with the commemoration of the 30th Anniversary celebration of Nana Ababio’s enstoolment as the Ch’
