SDA women hold convention

Sunyani, Dec. 26, GNA – The Second Women’s and Young Ladies Convention of the Seventh-Day Adventist (SDA) Mid-West Ghana Conference (MGC) Women’s Ministries Department opened in Sunyai on Friday.

It is being attended by 388 participants from all the three administrative Conference Districts of Ashanti, Western and Brong-Ahafo Regions at the Conference Hall of Sunyani High School (SHS).

Addressing participants as part of the official opening programme, Mrs Cecilia Anane Otchere, Women’s /Children’s Ministries Director of the Conference, said the Women’s Ministries focused on equipping women and young ladies for spiritual upliftment.

The Unit, she added, was also aimed at seeing to the skills training and income generating activities of women in the church to enable them to come out as women’
