African leaders urged to reject homosexuality -Rev. Broni

Gomoa Potsin (C/R) March 24, GNA – The Dean of Faculty of Psychology and Education of University of Education Winneba (UEW), Rev Fr Dr Anthony Afful Broni, has called on Africa leaders to reject homosexuality in the sub-region.

He said 93if the necessary measures are not taken to weed out this sinful act, the future of Africa would be doomed because its manpower would be badly affected.”

Rev Fr Afful Broni said this at a day’s seminar organised for the students of Potsin T.I Ahmadiyya Senior High School at Gomoa Potsin on Tuesday.

The Seminar was under the theme 93Homosexual relationship in Senior High Schools and its impact on the Ghanaian society”. Rev Fr Broni advised the students not to get involved in such immoral acts as it would destroy their future and told them to report to their teachers and parents when they are being forced by their peers or elderly persons to get them involved in such practice. In a paper read for the group by Rev Francis Blay Andoh, they called for provision of guidance and counselling services in the school to prevent adolescents from engaging in homosexual acts. 24 March 11
