The Minister for Media Relations Ms Elizabeth Ohene, told newsmen at the State House in Accra that “President Kufuor is taking a few days working leave from Monday, August 20.”
She did not disclose the duration of the vacation, but said the President Kufuor was still in touch with his office and would attend to urgent business. Ms Ohene expressed the hope that this new development would not leave room for speculation, because it was necessary for Ministers of State and other public officials to take time off their heavy schedules to rest.
