Ten arrested for alteration of documents

The culprits have been handed over to the police in Ho for further investigations. Lieutenant-Colonel Joseph Baah-Tsiquaye, Officer in charge of the recruitment, told the GNA that the offenders altered their ages and names to beat the system but the discrepancies were detected through the vigilance of officials.

He said generally, the body selection and documentation of qualified persons had been successful and that short-listed applicants would be selected on merit based on military standards. Lt. Col. Baah-Tsiquaye said 250 applicants would be selected for recruitment in the Army, Navy and Air Force from among the 872 short-listed applicants listed for the Ho recruitment centre.
