Kwabre residents in Netherlands donates to the Kumasi Children’s Home

Kumasi, April 25, GNA- Citizens of Kwabre District in Ashanti Region residing at Den-Hague in the Netherlands have donated bags of cement to the Kumasi Children’s Home.

The 101 bags of cement which cost GH¢ 1,100 were procured through contributions from the 25 members of the group. Making the presentation, Madam Comfort Ansu-Gyeabour, auditor of the group said the presentation is to help complete ongoing and development projects in the home.

Madam Ansu-Gyeabour pledged continued support for the needy in society, especially orphans and the invalid to help alleviate their plight to enable them also to enjoy life to the fullest.

Madam Victoria Asugnya, Supervisor of the home who received the donation commended the group for their kind gesture, saying they were going to make good use of them to enhance the standard of living of both the inmates and the attendants. She therefore called on other institutions and individuals to emulate the kind gesture.
