Contestants show support for colleague’s nomination

Nyinahin (Ash), April 16, GNA – All four contestants who lost the position of the Atwima-Mponua District Chief Executive (DCE) to Mrs. Theresah Adomako, have expressed support for her nomination. Mr. John Oduro Osei-Tutu Ababio, a spokes person for the three others – Stephen Yeboah, Akwasi Agyei-Mensah and Ali Yeboah – told the Ghana News Agency on Tuesday at Nyinahin that they had ironed out their differences to give peace a chance.

They pledged their support for the nominee and called on other party members to also rally behind her to show their respect for the President John Atta Mills. Mr. Oduro also appealed to the district assembly to approve Mrs. Adomako’s nomination. 16 April 09
