60-year-old man, what business do you have with 22-year-old damsel – Otabil

Theologian, motivational speaker and entrepreneur Dr. Mensa Otabil has waded in on the age old argument of what love is, observing in a message to his flock that love is strange and makes those who fall to its sting foolish adding it even makes the love sick disdain wisdom.

The founder of International Central Gospel Church could not come to terms with what could drive a 60 year potbellied man who had laboured to acquire a BA, MA and PHD and held top notch positions succumb to the charms of a 22 year old.

The founder and Chancellor of Central University College noted he is awed when he encounters such spectacles in town where an elderly man hooks a damsel whiles calling her sweet-heart sweet-heart adding: “you are a joke to yourself, colleagues and children… everyone sees you as a big joke but you feel on top of the world because wisdom has taken flight long ago”.

He added he wonders how such elderly men with weak bodies and pot bellies actually believe it when the young damsel says ‘I don’t love you for your money’ when nothing else could possibly attract her.

The advice is for such senior citizens to offer the last of their gifts to help advance society before they embark on the trip to the great beyond instead of engaging in futile exercises with young ladies merely old enough to be their grandchildren.
