20-year old phone repairer in court for fraud

Kade, Dec. 13, GNA – Richard Amewuho, a 20-year-old phone repairer, on Tuesday appeared before the Kade Magistrate Court for defrauding a businessman of GH¢1,000 under the pretext of helping him to secure a vehicle.

Amewuho pleaded guilty with explanation but the court changed his plea to not guilty and granted him GH¢1,500 bail with two sureties one of whom is to have residential address within the court’s jurisdiction.

The case was adjourned to December 15.
