Zanetor Agyeman-Rawlings Condemns Fatal Stabbing at Kinbu SHS, Calls for Urgent Safety Measures

The Member of Parliament for Klottey-Korle, Dr. Zanetor Agyeman-Rawlings, has expressed deep sorrow over the fatal stabbing of a student at Kinbu Senior High School in Accra on Thursday, July 31, 2025.

“I am deeply shocked and saddened by the tragic incident that occurred on Thursday, 31st July 2025, at Kinbu Senior High School, which resulted in the fatal and senseless stabbing and loss of a young student,” Dr. Agyeman-Rawlings said in a statement.

She condemned the attack in strong terms, urging security agencies to act swiftly.
“I strongly condemn this act of violence, and I am calling for a swift and thorough investigation by the relevant authorities to ensure that justice is served. Violence has no place in our schools! Our children must feel safe in their learning environments,” she stressed.

The MP described the incident as a wake-up call for stakeholders in education and security, urging them to urgently review and strengthen safety protocols in schools.

“My thoughts are with the bereaved family, the students, faculty, and the entire Kinbu SHS community during this period of grief,” she added.

Dr. Agyeman-Rawlings further pledged to collaborate with the Ghana Education Service, school management, local leaders, and security agencies to improve both safety measures and mental health support in schools across her constituency.
