Youth undertake communal labour on Boabeng-Fiema road

Boabeng-Fiema(B/A), Nov. 11, GNA – About 150 youth from four communities within Nkoranza North Constituency on Friday undertook a five hour communal labour to rehabilitate portions of the Nkoranza Tankor and Boabeng-Fiema Feeder road.

They were from Boabeng, Fiema, Bonte and Boniri. Nana Okafo Tabiri Adjei, Chief of Boabeng joined the youth in the exercise while four transport owners in the area provided tractors to convey gravels.

Mr Kwabena Kyeremeh, Assemblyman of Bonte-Boniri Electoral Area told the Ghana News Agency that, with the recent rains portions of the road had been affected by erosion and drivers were not able to cross River Adwaa.

He expressed appreciation to Nana Adjei and the transport owners for their contribution and concern for the development of their communities and urged other people to emulate them. Mr Kyeremeh advised the youth to refrain from indulging in party politics but unite to develop their communities. 11 Nov. 06
