The Member of Parliament for Kpone Katamanso Constituency and former Greater Accra Regional Minister, Hon. Joseph Nii Laryea Afotey Agbo was mocked by President Akufo-Addo when the latter addressed a durbar of Chiefs and people at Kpone Methodist Primary on Wednesday.
The durbar was a climaxed in honour of President Akufo-Addo’s visit to Tema as part of three-day tour of the Greater Accra Region.
The venue was packed with chiefs from Dodowa, Ashaiman, Tema, Prampram, Ningo, Shai Osudoku and Ada area as well as supporters of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) .
Addressing the gathering, President Akufo-Addo who apparently got shocked by the thunderous applause that was given to the MP for the area who is now a regent said after he acknowledged his presence, said “I can see the MP has a lot of fans here. But I want to tell him that he is in a wrong party. So tell him.
“Next time he should join the right party,” he added
