You can’t trust Mahama – Bawumia tells Ghanaians

NPP running mate Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has warned Ghanaians against voting for the governing National Democratic Congress because the party and its leader John Dramani Mahama cannot be trusted.

Speaking to lecturers and students at the University for Development Studies in Nyankpala, Dr. Bawumia accused president Mahama of beating a retreat on his stance on the payment of trainee allowances in a bid to win votes.

He said the president was deceiving Ghanaians with the move insisting the allowances will be scrapped in 2017 once the NDC wins the elections.

The NPP running mate further criticised the president for failing to put in place measures to prevent the collapse of the country’s economy arguing that President Mahama has no moral authority to ‘question the NPP’s plan to revive the country’s economy’.
