You can’t substitute Gyan and Dede Ayew with spectators – Mahama

President John Mahama has said that Its never possible to substitute good players like Dede Ayew , Asamoah Gyan with spectators who doesn’t know how to play the game of football.

Speaking to party supporters at NDC campaign launch of Hon Kwabena Donkor in the Brong Ahafo Region as part of his 5 days campaign tour in the region, President Mahama said that some political parties are moving around and asking Ghanaians to try them.

Using Black stars players like Asamoah Gyan and Dede Ayew as a clear examples, he hinted that “ as a coach if you have good players like Dede Ayew and Asamoah Gyan in your team and you playing world cup qualifies, you won’t make the mistake of substituting them for a mere spectator who knows next to nothing about how to play football “ he said

He continued that, normally when you are outside the field and the football match is going on , you end up running commentaries , but when you giving the opportunity you will end up not doing better than the one you are substituted with .
