World Vision, NGO embark on tree planting

Twifo Praso (C/R), June 28, GNA- The Twifo Praso Area Development Programme (ADP) of World Vision, Ghana, in conjunction with the Twifo Praso International Goal Achievement Science Club, an NGO, on Tuesday undertook a five-hour tree planting exercise to climax the celebration of World Environmental Day in the district.

Officials of World Vision and members of the NGO, who are mostly basic school children, planted more than 200 tree seedlings along the Twifo-Praso/Cape Coast main road.

They had earlier undertaken a clean up exercise during which they swept the premises of the local health centre and the main roads in the town.
