World Vision Ghana presents books to schools

New Edubiase (Ash), Aug 31, GNA – World Vision Ghana has presented books to schools in the Adansi South District. The schools were Asiama Guahyia Junior Secondary School (JSS), Mary Ghann JSS, the District Experimental JSS and the New Edubiase Senior Secondary School.

Presenting the books on behalf of the World Vision Ghana at New Edubiase at the weekend Nana Asiama Guahyia Ababio, Edubiasehene, said he requested the books based on the low performance of pupils in examinations in the town.

He advised them to make good use of the books by reading them during their leisure hours and also visit the library regularly instead of wasting their time attending wake-keepings, dances, video shows and gambling.

Mr Dominic Yeboah, the Adansi South District Chief Executive, commended the chief for his initiative and numerous supports to raise the standard of education in the district and appealed to other chiefs to emulate him.

Mr Augustine Yeboah Kodie, the Head teacher of Asiama Guahyia JSS on behalf of the beneficiary schools, expressed thanked WVI for the books.
