Workers in Amansie West mark day with clean up exercise-

Manso-Nkwanta (Ash), May 3, GNA – Workers in the Amansie West District, on Sunday, marked this year’s May Day with a massive clean-up exercise at Manso-Nkwanta, the district capital. Led by the District Chief Executive (DCE), Mr Charles Oti-Prempeh, they spent more than three-and-a-half hours, removing garbage from gutters, clearing bushes and sweeping the streets. They were joined by some members of the local Seventh Day Adventist (SDA) Church.

Mr Oti-Prempeh, addressing them after the exercise, said the Mills Administration would do everything to improve the working conditions of the Ghanaian worker. He encouraged them to uphold good work ethics to increase productivity= .. The District Coordinating Director, Mr Daniel Nkrumah, praised the workers for their contribution towards national development and urged them to remain dedicated to work. 3 May 11
