WMCI organises blood donation exercise to mark 25 Anniversary

The Word Miracle Church International (WMCI) in collaboration with Coca-Cola Ghana Limited, Bell Aqua Limited and Dannex Pharmaceuticals, on Saturday organised a blood donation exercise for members of the church in Accra.

The exercise formed part of its 25th anniversary celebration of the church

Reverend Chris Parsram, Chairman of the Planning Committee of the anniversary said the blood donation meant to save lives was in response to the numerous appeals by various hospitals for blood.

He thanked the corporate bodies that supported the initiative of the church.

Mr. Edwin Nartey Olaga, Head of the Blood Bank at the 37 Military Hospitals who supervised the exercise, thanked the WMCI for the gesture.

He appealed to other churches, mosques, civil society groups and cooperate institutions to support the operations of health facilities.**
